I am a software UX designer — I have been working in UX design since 2011, B2B software design since 2014, and in cybersecurity since 2019. I care about making the digital world a better, safer, and more accessible place.
Career
I specialize in complex data visualization and technical industries. My consulting experience spans legal, oil & gas, federal/state government, medical, finance, telecommunications, food manufacturing, retail, and real estate. I believe that understanding the computational systems behind a product is essential to designing it well.
Education
I graduated with honors from the University of Kansas in 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, with concentrations in Writing and Art History. My coursework covered Human Factors, Design Research, and Interaction Design.
Personal
I'm from Arvada, Colorado. Outside of work I enjoy hiking, landscape art, photography, and mystery novels. I have a rescue chihuahua named Frances.
